Coming of Age in the Vietnam Era

Rod Spaw was a journalist for the former Evansville Press and has recently retired from the Bloomington Times Herald. He returns to Evansville to share his experiences and engage with the audience.

Rod Spaw’s personal journey: Rod’s transition was from a kid slowly learning about Vietnam and coming to a conclusion about it in high school and then interacting as a journalist with veterans of that war and journalists who covered the Kent State riots at SIU. Mr. Spaw will present the story of his personal journey and answer your questions.
