John Lennon Night Announcement

“’Twas a chilly Monday evening in the season of cheer.
I was curled on the couch in my favorite spot
When the TV barked at me the news from New York—
John Lennon has just been shot.”

Again this year, Veterans For Peace will honor John Lennon’s legacy as an artist and activist by sharing music, stories, and poetry. In keeping with our mission to heal the wounds of war, all proceeds from the event will go to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, in equal measure to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) (Doctors Without Borders) and Save the Children.

Veterans For Peace in Evansville is committing $1000 to each organization—and we have set aside an additional $2000 in matching funds for supporters to double their gifts.
