A Gathering for Peace

Friends of Veterans For Peace gathered on International Peace Day at The Barn for an evening of food, music — and sharing the bond that unites us all, the longing for peace. Special thanks to Troy Miller for hosting the event in his fabulous venue, and for the many musicians who took the stage to share their talents: Nick Smith & Dave King; Toby Ellis; John Michael O’Leary; Touch of Grey; Mark Wilson; and Troy Miller. Special thanks also to VFP Associate Member Margee Stone for championing and organizing this event, and to Randall Notter for his impromptu photography. VFP is especially grateful for all who opened their purse to help us fund awards for Evansville’s “Peaceful Towns” art competition. More on this initiative to come:)
